What is the difference between AC, DC and EC fans? What are they tp do with server rack cooing?

These three categories of fans are focused differently with respect to performance, efficiency, and use as a server rack cooling unit :


  • AC fans: These fans operate directly with AC power, and installation is straightforward. They are also extremely dependable and affordable in customary gear that needs constant and steady flow of air pressure.
  • DC fans: Direct current, which has much less power consumption in comparison with AC fans, which would result in energy efficiency.
